Marquisa Wince was the Founding Executive Director of Arkansas Appleseed, where she served as the organization’s chief strategic officer and voice for its mission, vision, values, and programs.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Marquisa brought over a decade of experience in community organizing and advocacy. In 2016, Marquisa earned her B.A. in Economics and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee while also serving as an AmeriCorps Member with Public Allies of Milwaukee. In 2021, she earned her J.D. from William H. Bowen School of Law and M.P.S. from the Clinton School of Public Service.

She now resides in her hometown of Milwaukee where she remains committed to justice.
