To become an Arkansas Appleseed volunteer, you are invited to attend an Onboarding session, which we host on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Sign up for our Emails and watch our Events page, and we’ll let you know!
Expectations for Volunteers
Attend a Volunteer Onboarding session prior to beginning any work on behalf of the organization.
Conduct research with integrity, engage with staff and community members appropriately, and honor Arkansas Appleseed’s commitment to inclusivity.
Track hours and provide periodic progress updates when requested.
Volunteers without attorney’s license: do NOT engage in unauthorized practice—all assignments or duties assigned must be in compliance with the Arkansas Rules Governing Admission to the Bar and the Arkansas Rules of Professional Conduct.
